I’m a true believer that a healthy lifestyle is based on much more than just the physical aspect, which is largely why I first fell in love with Bodylanguage back in 2010. I design my classes to challenge the mind as much as the body. My goal, which aligns with our priorities at Bodylanguage, is to make sure that each person who attends my class leaves feeling empowered, challenged, and ready to come back for more! I truly believe that when someone respects their bodies boundaries but is also willing push past the initial discomfort to take on new challenges, then what they are doing is more than enough. With a degree in Exercise Science and a Masters in Occupational Therapy, I know that I can create effective and fun classes that meet the needs of everyone. The best part of owning and running Bodylanguage is that it doesn’t feel like ‘work’. I’m fortunate that I can spend my days doing what I love, which also includes working as an OT for kids with Autism and of course spending time with my amazing family. My husband Lucas is a Firefighter with AFD and we are blessed with two magical kids, Opal and Landen.

Motto: Always chase your unicorn!
As a person who has never really enjoyed working out, I feel that I can encourage people to believe in themselves and their abilities. My history with fitness has been spotty to say the least. Since discovering Body Language and my love for spin I have never felt more empowered or had a more consistent relationship with my health. I believe that if I can do this, anyone can! My classes aim to motivate and encourage everybody no matter your fitness level, age, or any other defining factor you may think you have. I also don't mind having a little fun! When I'm not at the studio, you can find me cooking up something bomb in the kitchen or relaxing with a glass of wine and a good movie! I'm also a pharmacy technician AKA a licensed drug dealer!

Motto: The only thing standing in your way is that excuse you keep making!
Growing up in Orange County, CA, as a competitive springboard and platform diver, fitness and exercise have always been huge parts of my life. My diving accomplishments granted me a full-ride to The University of New Mexico, where I graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education. After deciding to take a break from teaching first graders after eight years, I became a certified barre instructor at BodyLanguage! When I'm not instructing our clients to tuck and embrace the shake, I am serving beers at Red Door Brewing Company or substitute teaching for APS. I strive to teach my barre clients the importance of proper body positioning, mental toughness, and core strength. Outside of work, I'm playing kickball or sand volleyball, hanging out with friends and dining out at my favorite spots in the 505!

Motto: Shake it till you make it!
Health and fitness have always been passions of mine. When I was younger I did pretty much every activity under the sun. I tried anything from ballet to volleyball. However, nothing really stuck or captured my heart the way spin and BodyLanguage have. My goal, in not only my classes but in life, is to inspire others to try their best and be proud of their accomplishments. I want each person that enters my class to leave their worries behind when they walk in and if they have left even a little bit happier, then I have done my job. I strive to create a fun and positive environment, but mostly I hope to surprise and present clients with a challenging workout that wouldn’t typically be expected from a twenty-year-old that only started spinning
less than a year ago. Outside of BodyLanguage I am a student at UNM, I am currently studying business with a concentration in marketing. As I am a hard worker and perfectionist, I am working towards graduating my bachelors early and then moving on to my masters. I also have a very special place in my heart for music, as it has been a huge part of my life from a very young age. Instructing and music are my two biggest passions, and I am so lucky to be able to combine my two passions when I am teaching.

Barre, NRG Spin
When I first started as a client at BodyLanguage in 2009, I fell in love with the grace and intensity of barre classes. The endurance, strengthening and toning are physical and mental, which really impacts everything in life. I am passionate about helping women be all they were created to be – beautiful, brave and brilliant – and barre and NRG are a big part of that! When I am not at the barre or on the bike, you’ll find me working as a certified architectural color consultant choosing paint colors and doing redesign for the painting company that I own with my rock-star husband. I am also a biblical life coach motivating and serving women to accomplish goals and live with purpose in all seasons of life. On occasion you’ll also find me teaching a Holy Barre class!

Barre, NRG Spin
I knew, many years ago, when I found Body Language that it was the studio for me. I loved being pushed to my limit and feeling physically and mentally stronger after each class. I have never strayed and continually feel happier every time I set foot through our doors. Having been trained in the BodyLanguage methods, my relationship and love for the practice of barre has deepened on every level. More than anything, I appreciate being a part each client’s fitness goals. Where ever you are in your life, shape, or progress I am here to support you and strive to make you leave my class feeling challenged, stronger and more connected to your body than when you came. One quote that keeps me coming back is: For a seed to achieve its greatest
expression, it must completely come undone. The shell cracks, its insides come out and everything changes. To someone who doesn’t understand growth, it would look like complete destruction. When I am not shaking at the barre, I am working as a nationally certified sign language interpreter and looking forward to my next adventure with my partner in crime, Erick. We love traveling, eating and spending time with friends, family and our pups Chico and Bowie.

Motto: Love life.
Growing up with six siblings, I was always highly active and did competitive gymnastics until age 17. After reaching level 10, I quit due to injuries and did varsity diving and track&field for my last two years of high school. Gymnastics gave me an understanding of my body and taught me that results come with discipline, dedication, and hard work. I want to help others feel positively about themselves and I believe exercise is the best medicine to any physical or mental problem. Fitness has pulled me through some tough times and given me a release from the world - I want to teach others how to do the same. Barre is awesome for all ages and body types because it is low impact and incorporates coordination, strength, and flexibility.
Apart from teaching barre at BodyLanguage, I am a full time Biology major and Chemistry minor at the University of New Mexico. I aspire to work in the health field when I am done with my schooling to further help others become their best, happiest, healthiest selves.

Pilates & Barre
I am an Albuquerque native with a passion for adventure, a love of God and family, and a soul for Pilates! I studied ballet and jazz at a young age and grew up competing in gymnastics, basketball, tennis, and taekwondo, all of which started me on my fitness journey! My passion for Pilates began in college at the University of New Mexico (UNM) with a great instructor who inspired me to pursue my practice and turn it into a job. Pilates allows me to experience movement and strength from the inside-out, and I love helping all you beautiful warriors feel the same! Outside of BodyLanguage, I work full time for Dion’s Corporate Office as the Training Manager, spending my time teaching the company’s trainers how to lead and inspire. I love having adventures with my amazing husband and our two wild pups, Chloe and Cortana.
