The SPINNING program is one of the most effective cardiovascular training systems in the fitness industry.

 

New this summer we have added a new speakers and a big screen LCD TV and are playing Tour de France Videos and music videos. Watch for our second location to open in Nob Hill soon with SPINNING right next door to the Fixed and Free Bike shop......that's behind Starbucks at Cantral and Tulane.

   

SPINNING

 

We offer 1 hour SPINNING classes at convenient times daily.  In the typical SPINNING class you can expect to burn anywhere from 400 to 650 calories, train your cardiovascular system, build leg strength, ramp up your metabolism, and have fun at the same time.  Our instructors spend considerable time off the bike to focus on and encourage  each client.

 

FUSION

We have designed our signature Pilates/Spin Fusion class to allow for cardiovascular, core, and flexibility training in the same hour.  For a more intense workout, many participants take a Pilates class either before or after a SPINNING class.  Our schedule is designed  to allow for a fusion of SPINNING and Pilates at several dimes during the week.  Combining Pilates and SPINNING is an effective synergistic system to build a long, lean, and flexible body while improving cardiovascular fitness and reducing body fat for a total body conditioning program.

  • Want to get a jump start on the spring cycling season?

If you answered yes to any of these questions……This program is for you!

These specially designed 8 week programs are designed to raise your level of fitness and increase your metabolism by training at consistently higher levels of intensity. Each participant is required to have a Sub-Max Heart Rate Assessment before the program to establish their Max Heart Rate and Recovery Heart Rate. The first class consists of a series of drills to determine your AT Heart Rate that will be used in the remainder of the program. Each week you will be training specific energy systems at, around, and above your AT for longer periods of time. The intensity increases each week. By the end of the eight weeks you will be fitter, stronger, faster, and have a higher Recovery Heart Rate. This is an effective program that sees repeat clients year after year. Chose from the following times:

  • Tuesday 12:00 noon @ Nob Hill Studio
  • Wednesday 6:00pm @ San Francisco Studio
  • Saturday 6:45am @ San Francisco Studio- - - This session is FULL!

Cost is $200 for the 8 week program. Sub-Max Assessments are $45.
