PILATES FOR GOLF is being used by some of the country's top professional golfers (Tiger Woods, Annika Sorrenstam, and Rocco Mediate) to improve their swing and hit the ball farther.  The benefits of Pilates for Golf have been presented in the Wall Street Journal, USA Today, Albuquerque Journal, and are used at the Titleist Performance Institute.   Valerie Compton is certified by Hole in One Pilates and Mike Wright's Golf PILATES through the Physical Mind Institute. 

In our program, you will learn how to exercise the muscles you use at each stage of your swing and follow through. You will build a stronger, more flexible body and improve your the ability to focus the mind to control your movements. Your club head speed and accuracy will increase, while the risk of injury and lower back pain will decrease. You will learn pre and post game exercises that can be done anywhere.

Your customized assessment starts with a 12-point swing biomechanics analysis that is used to determine your body's unique characteristics and create a PILATES training program created uniquely for your body's needs!  After using the set of training tools for a few weeks you will notice improved flexibility, a stronger core, and the ability to hit the ball farther.
